Origins and the Passion for Vinyl

Hailing from Sardinia, Alberto Tagliaferri embodies the essence of Italian club culture. His musical journey dates back to the early 1980s, a golden era that witnessed the birth and rise of underground sounds and deep house music. His deep-seated passion for collecting vinyl started at the age of 9, when he purchased his very first records, developing a refined ear and an extraordinary sensitivity for rhythm and music selection.

The Rise in Summer Clubs & Costa Smeralda

He made his debut behind the decks at the age of 16, seizing early opportunities to share the booth with fellow DJs of the era. His natural talent for mixing and authorial selection quickly attracted the attention of major event promoters. Throughout the 1990s, he became a central figure in Sardinia’s nightlife scene, taking center stage at the most iconic summer clubs across the Costa Smeralda before expanding his footprint onto the international circuit.

Technological Innovation & Live Performances

A constant innovator in the house music scene, Alberto Tagliaferri revolutionized the traditional DJ set by incorporating hardware early on into his live performances. Integrating instruments such as the famous Roland Groovebox MC-505 and Launchpad controllers allowed him to blend classic DJing with real-time music production, adding dynamic grooves and unreleased rhythms to his sets.

Over Two Decades at the Top & Discography

Over the past two decades, Tagliaferri has solidified his reputation as a key figure in quality house music, recognized for sophisticated productions that range from soul-chilled vibes to the clever use of pitch-shifted vocals. In 2012, he brought his artistic vision to life by establishing his own independent record label, through which he writes, produces, and releases his original material.
